I've been living here a few years now, and except for the winters, this is the most ideal place I've been. It's surrounded by two gorgeous mountain ranges; on a clear day you can see a glacier-covered "fourteener" from downtown. The city is hugged by Puget Sound on one side and Lake Washington on the other.
The first is from a D60, the second a 5D, both with a Sigma 15-30 EX, both at 15 mm. The second is a two-minute exposure, and with luck a train came by, leaving a trail of glowing headlights.
