Hi,
I run a personal website at http://hulubei.net/tudor that is mostly photography oriented. The photography section is at http://hulubei.net/tudor/photography. I recently wrote an article about running ads on photography websites that members of this forum may be interested in reading. It is available at:

Best regards,

Tudor:
That was an excellent article about running adsense on a photography website. I built my website KRE8V about 2 years ago and for sometime, I sort of forgot about it. About 8 months later I realized that it was getting alot more traffic than I expected and I realized that all of it was coming from Google Image Search. I did change a few photos and the traffic dropped dramatically and so far has not picked back up. Like you said, it takes the spiders a long time to update images.
Now here is something odd....that site gets absolutey no traffic from Yahoo and MSN image search. In fact, it is indexed in both search engines, but I guess not in the image search. I have actively searched for some photos on those search engines and can find nothing. I recently built a sitemap and submitted it to Yahoo. So maybe that might do some good.
I have recently built Sexy Lingerie Models and am waiting for it to get indexed into Google and the others.
Do you have any suggestions for how to get my website into Yahoo and MSN image search?

I just signed up for an adsense account....but like, is there really money in adsense? I think it usually looks tacky/spammish on a site that wants to be taken seriously.

Whether or not you will make much money with Adsense depends on your website and the amount of traffic. But yes, if done well, the money is worthwhile. Why not try putting the adsense code on just a few pages and see what happens?? If you like what you see, you can expand more later. For example, write a few articles and just put the adsense code on those articles and test it for a month or two before putting it on the rest of the website.
