ON LIFE AND LIVING
JUROR: JOHN GRANT
ADMINISTRATOR OF PUBLIC ART FOR DENVER
Submissions should reflect human impact and interactions, symbolic or literal images of humanity. Photographs of people and places, objects reminiscent of human presence or experience . . . we're seeking images of life captured in a blink of the eye, moments in time. Inaugural Show for the new location as Flash moves to a permanent home in Belmar's Block 7 with WWA.

John Grant
A widely respected curator of fine art photography, John Grant works with artists, galleries and museums from New York to Denver and internationally. John studied printmaking at the University of Iowa, then photography at Pratt Institute in New York where he did his student teaching. In 1991 he moved to Colorado where he established Denver's first fine art photo school, the Denver Center for Fine Photography and Grant Gallery. During this time, he worked with many of the finest photographic artists in the nation, managed important collections and became known as an insightful and critical curator and advisor. In late 1995 John joined the Mayors Office of Art Culture and Film (now the Denver Office of Cultural Affairs) as Public Art Administrator for Denver. John’s original school is our inspiration, and he continues to advise us in the creation of Working with Artists programs.
