In an attempt to put a new body right on the toes of Nikons D2X Canon have announced a 12.8 MP full frame SLR the Canon EOS 5D - there is a preview at DPreview

And they have also announced the EOS-1D Mark II N with a 8.2 megapixel CMOS sensor which is an upgrade of a previous body.

I hve one and m happy with my Canon EOS 5D…….though it dose not shoot as fast as my 3D but it’s full frame sensor makes a wonderful difference. It has a large and bright viewfinder and I also get a lot of wideness out of it with it’s 24mm focal length. I got some more cool consumer reviews for it at http://www.inods.com may be it’ll interest u m happy to read good reviews for my Canon………..
