Life in the slums- Compound of the Tide.
Photography series by Brasilian photographer Agnieszka Balut .Compound of the Tide- Rio de Janeiro- Brasil.
The Tide is not a single slum, but a compound of slums; several communities strung together, as if they were different quarters, creating an informal city of 150.000 thousand inhabitants.

I don't think I need to tell you that you have an increadble eye for portraying people in their enviroments. I can almost put myself int their shoes and I think that's the goal of any photojournalist.

I think you should create you own website insead of what your using now. I know that will cost money and it will be a while before the site will be up and running but it will be a boost in putting your name into the world. If not that atleast watermark your images to prevent theft.

amazing pictures and keep up that very very good work!

Cheers,

Martin.
