Hi Endre
I took a look at your website and overall, would give it very high marks. My only comment is that I find your thumbnails very tiny. For example, the photo of the airplane at Chino Air Show was particularly hard to understand as a thumbnail. In my experience, if someone is not attracted to the thumbnail, they wont open it. If they do not understand it as a thumbnail, and if they do not open it, you have lost an opportunity.
But the quality of the photos and the website are very good. Hope the the suggestion helps.

Hi Gene,
Thank you so much for looking at my site. I really appreciate it and also your kind and thoughtful comments. Unfortunately, I have very little control over the size of the thunbnail photos. My website is built as a subsidiary site of Better Photo. com and they set it all up and have 6 different templates that one can chose from. The thumbnail size and even the photo display size is all pre-determined. Initially, I had a big discussion with them over the fact that the photos all came out looking very small on my screen. I have an Apple HD Cinema Display monitor and with it set to he highest resolution everything comes out looking very small. They convinced me, though, that it was done since the general population (who don't have such high-def monitors) have a big problem with having to scroll about while looking at photos if they are too large. Sure enough, when i looked at my site on another computer, they were right and even the photo on my Home page (which is exempted from the size parameters) was so large that I had to scroll down to get it all in. The same is true, of course, for the thumbnails. I'm glad that overall, though, you found it to be satisfactory and I am also very glad that you enjoyed seeing my photos. Thanks, again. I'm going to go look at your photos now.
All the best,
Endre

Just had another quick look. Still like the site and still think that the thumbnails are small but I understand the limitation. One other tiny comment, really very tiny. Is it important that people can contact you? For me, I am not selling my work online, so it is not a huge issue. But if it is important for you, you might want to put an alternative way for people to contact you than just the box. The reason why, is that in about 10-20% of the time, those damn boxes do not work! You might want to write your email address in a non spider friendly way, like Endre AT yahoo DOT com.

Thanks, Gene. It's a great suggestion and I really appreciate it. I'll do that as soon as I have a chance.
All the best,
Endre
PS - I had a look at your site and, while they are a type of photos that I don't do (must be fun to get to shot all those pretty girls, though) i love the layout. Bravo! It is a great site.
