Hey everyone,

I have recently put together a site to display some of my photographs and was looking for some feedback on the site as well as the photographs themselves. http://www.tririverphoto.com The site is still in development and I do not know what I will keep or scrap of the current design. Just looking for any general suggestions anyone can offer.

I am also looking to add a links section and am looking for fellow photographers who would want a link to their site on my page.

Thanks,

Craig

I like the design a lot nice - very good navigation - image sizes good - you might consider watermarking them in the corner - some nice shots.

The only thing i would is use a proper webhost rather than masking - it can cause problems with the search engines they often don't like any form of redirection - if you want some suggestions on web hosts check out the new post i have made on the subject.

so check out the getting traffic forum http://forums.photographysites.com/forum3/ you could definitely do with some help with that

also i you should create a links page and get some links from other photographers. read the forum about why.

Hi There - I think the site is quite nice, but my only critique would be to recommend changing the font used for the navigation titles (it looks like a callygraphy type font).  I would recommend a cleaner font, or possibly some graphical buttons for navigation.  An excellent low cost tool for creating all types of titles and navigation can be found at http://www.xara.com

Your site is good but I agree that the main text headings could be clearer. I can see that these headings are image files. The problem you have is that the edges of each letter are jagged rather than smooth. You can fix this and greatly improve the legibility of the text by using a function called 'anti aliasing' when you generate the text in your image editor. All good image editors have this feature. Try this link for more information: http://www.widearea.co.uk/designer/anti.html

Hope that helps!
