- i would guess yes they would fit on but you would probably lose metering and autofocus ability by comparison with the newer lenses

- as they upgrade cameras the newer sensors need information from the lenses which wouldn't be available from older one although the mounts maybe the same

- check the specs on the canon website and see if the body is backwards compatible with older mounts
